Dashboard mounting, done right
- Clean with isopropyl alcohol, not interior cleaner — protectants leave a silicone film nothing sticks to.
- Position low and left, in your sightline to the road, never blocking instrument visibility.
- In hot climates, favor suction+gel (removable) or hard 3M bases; soft gel pads creep at 150°F cabin temps.
- Let adhesive cure 24 hours before hanging a phone off it, especially VHB tape.

Why won't my mount stick to my dashboard?
