TechTrendPick exists because buying a phone mount shouldn't be a gamble. Every mount on the market claims to be "universal", "rock-solid" and "one-hand easy" — and roughly half of them are none of those things once they meet a real dashboard, a real air vent, and a real phone in a thick case.

What we do

We specialize in one category — phone mounts for cars, bikes and motorcycles — and go deep instead of wide. That means hands-on reviews of the mounts people actually buy, head-to-head comparisons between them, and free interactive tools that match mounts to your exact car, bike and phone instead of guessing.

How we test

Every mount we recommend goes through the same routine: install it in three vehicles (a full-size pickup, a compact crossover and a sedan), drive it for at least two weeks including highway speeds and rough local roads, and try it with phones from 67 mm to 79 mm wide, in and out of cases. Mounts that sag, rattle, mark up a dash or fight one-handed use get flagged — not quietly dropped.

Where our measurements and manufacturer claims disagree, we publish ours and say so. Specs on this site are our working approximations — always cross-check the listing before you buy.
